How Much Does it Cost?
Misfit Martial Arts strives to be one of the cheaper options for martial arts in Genesee County. We don’t offer expensive seminars, uniform is included in the first week of classes, and tuition is $75 a month for 2 classes weekly students 5 and up.
Do you offer a free trial period? Do you require a contract?
We offer 4 classes free of charge for you to decide if Misfit Martial Arts in the right fit for you. We don’t lock anyone into pricey tuition contracts- rather, we have everyone pay tuition monthly via card, check, or cash.
We understand seasons change, kids interests change, and adults have different responsibilities in their lives, so charging monthly tuition gives you flexibility without locking you into a 6 month or yearlong obligation.
What Ages do you teach?
At Misfit Martial Arts, our students range in age from 3 years old to 60+! We are passionate that martial arts is NOT just for kids! We offer adult martial arts classes as well as family classes, so parents can conveniently take classes alongside their children if they want.
Our Lil’ Kritters class is for kids ages 3 and up, and teaches kids balance, listening, motor skills, and coordination.
Do you offer accommodations for Special Needs Students?
Here at Misfit Martial Arts, we believe martial arts is for everyone. While there is structure, respect, and self-discipline that is inherent to our martial art, we also believe in meeting our students where they are to help them grow.
We understand not everyone is neurotypical and kids have different needs. That being said, we attempt to reasonably accommodate and include everyone, regardless of their abilities. We are willing to work with parents to provide a fun, inclusive martial arts studio for everyone. Our small class sizes make sure everyone can get the attention they need, and no student willing to learn is turned away.
